A postdoc position will be available at PPL (Philosophie, pratiques & langages, Grenoble, France - http://ppl.upmf-grenoble.fr) for one year, starting September or October 2016, renewable for a second year, within the French ANR funded project DEMOCRASCI: Epistemological foundations and principles for the democratization of the governance of science Postdoc theme: “Elaboration of possible forms of democratization of the governance of science”, which corresponds to Task 3 of the project DEMOCRASCI. For further details on the project see: http://ppl.upmf-grenoble.fr The successful candidate is expected to present his/her research at conferences and seminars, and to publish in international peer-reviewed journals. She/he will work at PPL and will provide organizational support for the activities of the team. Requirement: PhD in philosophy or sociology or history of science, or political philosophy with a focus on science and society / science and governance themes. Mastery of English is expected. Residence in Grenoble at least three days a week is mandatory. Salary will be approximately 2000€ (net) per month.
